Kevan had the perfect summer internship. "Not only was it a great internship, but I got a great job out of it," he joked, referring to the full-time position he was offered after his 11-week stint with Henry & Peters P.C., the largest public accounting firm in his hometown of Tyler.
After her graduation from Abilene Christian University in May, Alaina Bearden set out to find a job where she could make a difference on a daily basis. In August, she discovered such a position in Boston, teaching as a part of MATCH Charter Public High School's MATCH Corps.

Valerie spent last summer in Dallas working with Encompass Home Health. She shadowed various aspects of the business and rode with marketers calling on doctors. Valerie is still working part time for Encompass while finishing her senior year at ACU. Now her job involves recruiting nurses for the home health agency.
Beginning next fall, ACU will offer a Master of Science degree in Global IT Leadership. The program will provide advanced training for individuals seeking positions in IT leadership and administration or a career track leading to the position of CIO.
